Recently the NBA forward Mike Scott from Philadelphia 76ers provoked serious ethical issues with a simple appeal to the team’s fans. He frankly encouraged them to boo his previous teammate Jimmy Butler when the latter comes next time to the Wells Fargo Center. The reason: during the upcoming 2019-20 season Butler will be wearing the Miami Heat uniform.

Mike Scott claims to still be friends with Butler, but he expects Sixers fans to be hostile and promises to boo ex-colleague too. The Sixers and Heat usually play four times during the season. It will be really interesting to see whether the fans will support Scott’s request. Experience shows that a hostile greeting can make a very big difference to the result and outcome of a match. It’s will be a hard time for us to decide and to make a bet at for the matchups in Philadelphia. Those are set on November 23 and December 18.

Wearing the Philadelphia 76ers uniform shooting guard and small forward Butler successfully played 55 regular-season games. He showed solid average results: 5.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 46.1 percent shooting, 18.2 points per game. He led the 76ers to the Eastern Conference Playoffs, but unfortunately, they lost to Toronto Raptors at that time.

Last month it was said Sixers tried hard to keep such a valuable player and offered Jimmy Butler a full five-year max contract extension. He reportedly roughly refused and left Philadelphia for Miami Heat.

Miami attracted Butler with a four-year deal. The 29-year four-time All-Star player will cost the team $142 million. It seems Miami Heat places great hopes in Jimmy Butler.
